At the Visitor Center, located in the Cypress Swamp next to the 0.4 mile boardwalk, you’ll receive an informative, all-ages introduction to The Refuge. Learn about the wildlife and natural habitats. See what the interior of the Refuge looks like on a virtual airboat ride. Visit other informative and interactive exhibits and displays including the history of the Refuge, a tree island and gator hole diorama, and night sounds of the Everglades.
