National Wildlife Refuge Week | EVENTS

Saturday Oct. 8th

 
Guided Walk on Marsh Trail | 9:00am   

5k (3.1 Miles) – Enjoy a leisurely guided 3.1 mile walk on the Marsh Trail starting and ending at the C-6 Pavilion (parking available). Be hydrated and bring water! Led by Friends board member Cathy Patterson. Register ahead,15 person limit.

 Hike the Levee & Natural Impoundments | 9:00am  

8k (5 Miles) – There will be an opportunity to turn off to shorten the walk! Get your heart pumping during this 5.0 mile walk north along the Levee and back through Natural Impoundments, starting and ending near Canoe Launch. Be VERY hydrated and bring water.  Led by Friends board member Josh Weller. Register ahead, 25 person limit.

Saturday October 15th

Run for the Wild with a Ranger | 10:00am  

5k (3.1 Miles) Test your survival skills by running this 5k alongside Ranger Jamie! This event is self-paced, non-interpretive, and non-competitive. Starts and ends at the C6 pavilion. Be VERY hydrated and bring water. No limit on the number of registrants for this event, but please register in advance!

Celebrate in Person with Us! | 11:00am-2:00pm  

Everyone is invited, whether or not you participated in an event, to celebrate with us at the C6 Pavilion after the walks and run. Enter at the Lee Road entrance in Boynton Beach. Enjoy games, crafts, food for purchase, and more! 

All events are free and open to the public, donations welcomed.
